Laurent Picard
Laurent is a Portland-based firefighter and paramedic who has worked for Portland Fire & Rescue for 28 years. As a member of PF&R’s peer support team for the last 20 years, he assists his colleagues during challenging times, both work and life related. Psilocybin has helped Laurent immeasurably on his own decades-long mental health journey and has allowed him to access profound peace, healing, and joy that was beyond what he could have ever imagined, even just a few years ago. Laurent is grateful and honored to compassionately hold space for and give full attention to his clients on their own unique healing journeys with the mushrooms. In addition to being an Oregon-licensed psilocybin facilitator, Laurent is also a SEI-certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, drawing from this modality both to help prepare clients for their session and to integrate insights and learnings from their journey into their lives and bodies
