Much better healing experience than money spent on therapy. In a short period, I shed layers of grief that I was unable to deal with for 3 years after losing my son. Also feeling my power again was a relief as I understand my importance in my role as a human being.

This experience, from the moment I booked until the present moment, has significantly changed the trajectory of my life in a positive way. My hope from this experience was peace. I wanted to minimize the constant internal battle, thoughts, negative self-talk, etc. This experience took me on a journey of learning who I am and all the reasons I should love the person I have become. Additionally, each step of the process was meaningful, beneficial, and far exceeded anything I could have expected. The staff were some of the most amazing human beings I have ever met. It was evident they were truly called to this work. Each facilitator excelled in personal qualities. They were kind, empathetic, patient, and great active listeners. Their overall presence was consistently felt as lacking any and all judgement. Their warmth was truly felt from the time I met them and throughout our time together.

The experience was profound, warm, and hope-inspiring. As someone with a number of psilocybin journeys under my belt, I found it refreshing and renewing to be able to experience psilocybin in a new way (2 back-to-back journey days) with the support of such a lovely & intimate group of facilitators and participants. The ratio of facilitators to participants was very good (3:5). I found all three of them to be very open, warm, trustworthy, and wise. I really enjoyed the meditations and group workshops they designed. They also made me feel very comfortable for the duration of my stay. I felt that, had I needed more support during my journey, they would have been very effective in supporting me that way.

I found the advance group preparation and all the integration work following mushroom experience to be as powerful as the plant medicine itself. Odyssey provides the perfect setting to embark on a transformational journey. I was looking for a place that was based in science, that was legal, and had trained professionals who knew how to facilitate the work according to science based protocols. Other places were out of the country or did not have detailed protocols like Odyssey had. I could not have asked for a better facilitation team. You truly felt taken care of from the first screening call. You are so vulnerable during this experience and having a facilitation team you can trust allows the participants to go deeply into the experience. The setting was beautiful, the food was amazing, the facilitation team was awesome. Having group calls before the experience and having the 1:1 call with David Kahl was so critical in setting the foundation of trust. I found all the written materials to be very helpful as well like the preparation guide and integration guide to share with family/ friends. The place where we took the mushrooms and had our journey was beautiful. I loved that we were able to keep the doors open and had access to nature during the experience. I also liked there was plenty of free time to give us the flexibility to process things the way we wanted.

There are no words. I was able to reconcile relationships and come to terms with my own mortally. I learned not to take myself too seriously and have since then, changed my relationship with others, food, family and my hobbies. Overall, the respect and kindness shown stands out above all. Wow, the facilitators were incredible. They were so open, kind, caring, supportive, empathetic, nurturing - the list could go on. What a special team of women. They always were always attentive, gentle, and understanding to every participant's need. They all gave from their unique strengths and perspectives to make the journey and integration work so profound and meaningful. I LOVED the integration day and all of the different integration exercises we did. Hearing from all the participants about their journeys and getting to do the integration work with all the facilitators was one of the most beautiful and profound days of my life. It filled my soul. The connectedness and community felt on that day is a memory I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Everyone was kind, welcoming, warm, and open. Did a great job facilitating the experience, helping us understand what to expect, and making us feel safe and cared for. It was helpful to know everyone was trained to be there and could handle a variety of reactions from the medicine. I would tell folks to not pass up on this opportunity. I felt the most loved and supported I have ever felt in my life and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Very much worth every single penny.

Odyssey’s experienced has changed my life. I’m now 5 weeks post-ceremony, and only can I tell a difference in my symptoms, but everyone around me can. My first week back, my therapist couldn’t believe the difference. For the first time in many years, I can take a shower with no assistance. This has easily given me back an hour of every day.

I loved being in the group. It surprised me because I am so socially awkward but the facilitators helped us all feel super comfortable with the entire experience. I was overwhelmed with the professionalism and clear passion for [Odyssey's] mission and love for the clients they serve. This journey clarified and validated many of my spiritual beliefs. I loved the retreat house because the view was extremely special and gorgeous. I loved the journey space and the playlist that was shared, I listen to it often. I loved the integration circles and the people I met. There was a nice amount of relaxation and down time. Absolutely worth every penny spent.

It allowed me to release a lot of emotions that I've never fully let go of, which has provided immense relief. The emotions are still there, but they don't seem to have the same hold over me that they once did. All the facilitators were kind, understanding and very helpful. I did like that Paulo is a psychiatrist since I'm on some medications that could have influenced my experience, so having that piece of mind was nice. I loved the group setting. Connecting with people from all different backgrounds and realizing that we all have different yet sometimes similar things we're dealing with really brought me some comfort. The house we stayed in was also amazing and relaxing.

When asked by an acquaintance if I found what I came for, my response was simple: “I got exactly what I came for—and more.” From the outset, my priority was finding a safe, legal psilocybin journey with a licensed facilitator, and Odyssey stood out for its emphasis on safety and support. From our first contact to the pre-journey preparations, the session itself, and post-journey integration, Odyssey exceeded every expectation. It was everything I had hoped for as a first-time journeyer and more. Reflecting back, the experience was one of the most profound and meaningful events of my life. Two months out, it’s clear to me that the changes I’ve experienced are not fleeting but lasting. The ever-present daily anxiety has nearly vanished. Life over the last two months has been a bit chaotic… yet, I was able to manage through it all without too much anxiety or insomnia. I also gradually stopped taking Lexapro and Trazodone (as a sleep aid) in the weeks leading up to my session and haven’t needed them since. I move through the world now with a lighter step, as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I’ve rediscovered a sense of wonder in both new and everyday experiences. It’s as if I have a deeper appreciation for life itself, and being alive in the time that we’re in despite our increasingly divided and complex world. Interestingly, my heart rate variability (HRV) has shown significant improvement since my journey. Initially, I thought it might be a fluke, but the trend has persisted. While I feel as if my life is changed, I know it’s just the beginning of yet another journey, and I am looking forward to moving ahead with my intentions.

It was definitely a gift I gave myself. I've been in therapy for a decade and a half, and working quite intensely on my trauma for the last 7 years. I hit a point where I felt I needed help solidifying what I knew cognitively. I needed to believe my self-worth inside my body. Going into it, my intentions were to find myself, to free myself, and to forgive myself. The mushrooms showed me how to guide myself through the journey I needed in that moment. And now a month later, I'm seeing major shifts in my life for the better. I intend mushrooms to be a part of my life going forward. I truly believe that they will benefit me during many stages of life.

I loved that the process was extremely transparent and that the experience took place in a house. It felt cozier and safer than if I had done it at a hospital or clinic. It's like I'm able to short circuit the negative thoughts spirals that have consumed me.  I'm able to more clearly observe and recognize my own emotions in the moment and acknowledge them for what they are. This was one of the most eye-opening experiences I have had. I don't know if there is any other route I could have gone that provided such clarity, perspective, confidence, and amibition the way this treatment has provided in such an efficient amount of time.

Imagine traveling to the most quaint small town where everyone is relaxed and laid back. Then you go to Odyssey and have spiritual brain surgery. It is the perfect setting for such a profound and meaningful experience.

I researched every site that does psilocybin experiences. Most are overseas with little government regulations. I liked Oregon as an option because I am an attorney and researched the regulations and all of the safeguards the state implemented. I felt safe and knew this is a serious business that understands my health and safety are a top concern. [I'm] not confident the overseas locations are as safe as what I experienced in Oregon.

The value received is amazing. From the skills utilized by Odyssey’s intake staff to properly pair a patient and therapist together, the treatment itself, and the amount of support services offered after treatment. The catch for me was the very well-focused, warm and welcoming web design and available information. Second was the ease of getting started and connected with a facilitator. What made things even better was the warm, welcoming and understanding nature of Odyssey’s staff. I loved the entire experience from start to finish. I felt comfortable, safe, and highly cared for. This is an absolute must for the seekers in life. Anyone who feels they may have lost their way, needs the time to refocus themselves or shift or better understand themselves. This is a tool that I have strong faith will help. Odyssey is an absolute must.

Odyssey seems to be a collective of awesome folks who are dedicated to helping people have meaningful psilocybin experiences. Once I reached out to them, someone was always there to answer questions and make sure I had what I needed. The clarity and peace it gave me is priceless. [This experience was] the single most important thing I've ever done and worth every penny. Every single one of the facilitators are doing what they are meant to be doing. I had done an underground experience a few years ago with really meaningful results. But as a divorced mother of four children, it felt important to me to find a legal, supported option for my next experience. I was reassured in general by the scientific background of the Odyssey founders. And then I was even more reassured by my facilitator Caroline’s overall tone and specific answers to my questions on our initial consultation call. I went in not sure how I felt about the whole thing and after talking with Caroline, I felt very encouraged and safe and totally ready to sign up! Meaning, I am grateful to all of the people who worked to pass this legislation in Oregon, grateful to Odyssey, grateful to Chariot, grateful to Caroline and to the person who supervised my mushroom dosing. I loved the gentle and respectful tone and the garden to sit in at the end. I also loved that from the moment I signed up, I felt supported and encouraged by the whole process and Caroline’s guiding of the preparation meetings. I loved that I felt like I started to get my money’s worth from the helpfulness of this experience from the moment I registered, all the way to now since I still have my final integration meeting to look forward to. I loved that what I got from the experience was much more than what happened just in the few hours of the session. And I love the results in my mind, heart, and body. Plus, I loved getting to try something a little adventurous!

I've been struggling with profound depression for almost a decade, this was the first intervention that actually worked.  [It] was like being resurrected from the dead. [I had] attempted to enroll in multiple clinical psilocybin trials and was always turned down for some technicality. I've tried every different therapy available, changed everything about my life only to fail countless times. This was a critical first step on the road to recovery. This retreat was well developed, safe, and professionally run. I would highly recommend to friends and family. I loved the location, the people, and the size. Having people from similar backgrounds helped create a cohesive group and integrative experience. That concept is brilliant.

I was able to work with, feel and help heal major traumas in my life. I was also able to glean clarity in areas where I was unsure how to proceed or understand my true feelings. It helped strip away things that aren't truly important and remember what is...love, connection, compassion, family and my impact on the world. The experience can be very challenging and should be done in a controlled environment. I honestly don't know how I would have managed had I been on my own. Odyssey absolutely nailed everything.

I feel sad that the person I was before this waited so long to do it. I feel 100 pounds lighter, like I've cast away a tremendous amount of negative mental energy that wasn't serving me. It has been one of the most profound, and certainly most rapid, positive changes in my life. JP was great. He's a very calm, non-judgmental, supportive presence. Throughout the prep sessions he said many things that I found myself coming back to throughout the journey. Couldn't have asked for more.

The Odyssey team are caring professionals who take very seriously understanding and mastering both the scientific and human aspects of creating a powerful, transformative, and manageable experience for their clients. David, Jenn, Alex and Lynn were all excellent. I now consider them good friends. They take really good care of you and I had many deep conversations with them. That goes from the preparation, to the accommodations, to the meals, to the integration practices. I was very impressed.

The retreat helped me relax into myself, my purpose, my lessons, just all of it. Surrender, accept. So much love and support was taken in, given to me. A really great psychedelic retreat program. They have wonderful integration therapists, great logistics (lodging, meals, transportation, service center liason) and follow-up. There were four excellent facilitators who collaborated beautifully with each other, and of different ages and genders. I had different transferences to each, and they all blew me away with their compassion and wisdom.

Odyssey was my trusted guide on one of the top two (Camino de Santiago) most meaningful experiences of my life. They created the conditions for me to go deeper than I ever could have on my own. They were very attentive and created a peaceful and safe space to be open and vulnerable. I especially appreciated the way they helped me process Day 1 and encouraged me to go deeper in Day 2. The preparation was very helpful and David's attention to details, especially around logistics, really allowed me to let go of my need for control. The Lookout Lodge created the perfect space to process a challenging Day 1. The healthy food and schedule both contributed as well to my overall sense of well-being.

Being offered the gift of connecting with unambiguous meaning in my life was worth everything required to make this experience happen. Odyssey is a completely professional organization that enhanced this experience for me. The preparation was incredibly helpful and addressed all my questions. It was reassuring to have them guide me on this journey and to be there for follow-up integration.

It’s like a decade of emotional catharsis compressed into five hours. The task before me, and anyone who embarks on an experience like this, is understanding how to make meaning of that catharsis and integrating it into your life in a real and honest way.

From the pre-retreat sessions and guidance through the follow-up integration post-retreat, Alex was highly knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly reassuring and compassionately supportive throughout. Her creative pre- and post-integration guidance, wisdom, and tools were highly beneficial in supporting and maximizing my experiences. And she gently yet consciously prepared the allowing of each individual's inner landscape experience to evolve at a pace and place that felt safe yet beneficial. Having additional facilitators and support staff present during the actual session created a sense of safety and the reassurance to let go and allow a full experience. Knowing they were present and aware, and even experienced themselves, was a big factor in having the maximum experience, even through the 'harder' parts. I felt nurtured and consciously held by each and every one of them. Finally, knowing the training and support they receive as well was highly reassuring to a first timer. Everything from the beginning to this moment has been so much more than I could have expected or imagined for myself. So very appreciative to have found and experienced this life changing journey with Odyssey and its team.

Odyssey stood out to me for its tailored, legal group experience, the depth and intention behind the retreat agenda, and the meaningful connection I formed with David during the intake process—all delivered within an all-inclusive experience at a beautifully curated facilitation center. My experience with Odyssey was exceptional. They cultivated a safe, intentional space that allowed for deep personal growth, and supported me through one of the most transformative journeys of my life—guided by truly world-class facilitation. Simply put, the retreat wouldn’t have been half as powerful without the exceptional facilitators—a deeply committed group of trained professionals whose presence made me feel safe and supported. Their ability to bring the group together with care and intention was remarkable, and their dedication to this work shone through in every moment. The all-inclusive nature of the retreat, combined with the thoughtful pre-retreat calls, helped me feel genuinely comfortable and connected with the other participants from the start. The structured agenda struck a beautiful balance between guided sessions and spacious free time, while the facilitators’ deep knowledge of the psychedelic landscape—grounded in both scientific understanding and spiritual insight—allowed each journey to unfold in a way that felt uniquely attuned to each person’s readiness and openness. The music during the journey was deeply moving—carefully curated to enhance emotional depth and guide the experience with subtle power, making the process even more immersive and impactful.

The people at Odyssey, especially the facilitators, are wonderful. The whole retreat was very well executed; every detail was accounted for. The lodging was spectacular and very comfortable. The food was amazing! Once I knew I wanted to a group retreat experience, I knew I wanted a women's only group. Odyssey was the only center I found that provided one. Cost was a factor as well as being able to room alone. Crystal worked with me to find a solution.

This experience was life changing. It helped me quit drinking and it allowed me to resolve many mental health issues. I chose Odyssey because I appreciated the way the staff answered my questions, made me feel comfortable, and I felt they had my interests in mind. My facilitator, River, was amazing and made the process amazing before, during, and after.

My second journey was profound. All of the reasons that I came were exposed and mostly resolved. Some were incredibly intense but most were beautiful. I came to a feeling of total peace and relaxation that I hadn't felt in sixty years. I had no idea what to expect, but after completing my six day group retreat, it was incredible. Being taken care of in the most safe and beautiful location allowed me to open up with the group and explore.

It was more than a retreat. It was a sanctuary for the soul. All three facilitators were approachable, professional, and made it such a warm and comfortable environment which is key when being so vulnerable. I liked that there was preparation leading up to the retreat where you got to meet the all the facilitators and participants on zoom not once but twice. It increased the level of comfort when you finally got to meet in person. I also enjoyed all the additional activities of hiking, yoga, poetry, and meditation. And I appreciate the post integration meetings as well to feel fully supported.

I can confidently say it has been a pivotal turning point in my life. I find myself more in touch with my emotions, often moved to tears not by sadness, but by an overwhelming sense of happiness and gratitude. This heightened emotional awareness has brought a sense of lightness, a pervasive happiness that colors my daily life.

‍This experience, while challenging, was also imbued with a sense of peace, bliss, and a serene calmness that enveloped me in a way I've never felt in my almost 35 years of existence. I experienced an intense feeling of love, a deep connection with my loved ones, and a profound oneness with the world around me.

This was a transformative experience. Living my entire life by a set of 'rules' that weren’t congruent with my core self has created years of needless anxiety and distorted perceptions. Both Gabe and my facilitator were incredibly easy to work with and allowed me the space where I felt entirely at ease to explore the depths of my consciousness.

It's difficult to put this experience into words; it was incredibly profound, instilling within me a sense of calm and understanding I had never before experienced. The ease with which I could objectively examine my life and values, and understand my core self, is impossible to overstate; this was truly the first step in a new chapter of my life.

I felt very supported on my journey. JP knew that I wanted to have a deep experience and laid the groundwork for this well. It brought up a lot of emotions that I needed to process, and after my journey, I felt more grounded than I had in a long time. It helped me realize what is most important in my life in a very powerful, visceral way. I am so glad I took the time to do this for myself. I recommend this to anyone who is wanting to grow spiritually.

I can’t put a value on it, it was immeasurable. I would have done this years ago if I would have known the impact it had on me. My facilitator was super knowledgeable and prepared me for the journey ahead. He was super available and wonderful the whole time. It was a joyful journey of pure peace. I felt so much love and acceptance of who I really am.
