River Jenkins
She/Her

River is a graduate of the SoundMind Institute Psychedelic Facilitator Training Program. She has twelve years of experience working with psychedelic medicines in a variety of roles and she believes deeply in the potential of psilocybin to nurture and expand the individual and collective psyches. She is invested in providing compassionate, individualized support for clients exploring and healing with psilocybin in a space that honors their unique needs and goals.

In addition to psilocybin facilitation River is a harm reduction worker, psychedelic integration specialist, and psychedelic peer supporter as a supervisor with Fireside Project, the world’s only psychedelic support phone line. In her work with Fireside Project she has had the opportunity to hold space for folks exploring psychedelics and integrating their experiences in diverse settings and to provide training and support to others as they learn to do the same.

River is a research associate in Phase III clinical trials for psilocybin- and MDMA-assisted psychotherapies for PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, and Substance Use Disorder. When she isn’t supporting the psychedelic community, you can find her building her off-grid permaculture community in the high desert, kayaking, or exploring the forests and coastlines of the Pacific Northwest with her three dogs.
